No more congratulations, as you’ve been bombarded with plenty of those the last few months. Instead, we wish you all the best of luck in your future academic endeavors and offer several words of advice:
– Dedication, sacrifice, and time management are keys to your potential success in higher-level education.
– College should not be viewed as merely a steppingstone to your next venture; enjoy the journey itself.
– Life continues whether or not you are ready.
– Work hard, play hard.
– If you find yourself struggling in college, picture Andrew standing over you, shaking his head and hurling at you one disapproving insult after another.
So to each and every one of you whom we have been lucky enough to have met—whether you are headed to Princeton, Columbia, UChicago, MIT, UPenn, Northwestern, Dartmouth, Cornell, Brown, Vanderbilt, Rice, Georgetown, Carnegie Mellon, Virginia, Boston College, NYU, Northeastern, RPI, Binghamton, Stony Brook, Providence, Pratt, or plenty others that Andrew unfortunately forgot—we offer our best wishes and hope to hear from you in the future.
– Andrew Liu
